Michael McDaniel, Director of Public Relations and Board Member

As the sixth generation of his family to live in Nevada County, Michael McDaniel considers himself very blessed to own a local business. Michael owns and operates McDaniel Wealth Management in Nevada City. He is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College of California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics with an Honors concentration in Finance.

He has earned the designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist from the College of Financial Planning. Most noteworthy of his licenses held in the investment field are the Series 24 (General Securities Principal) and Series 7 (General Securities representative). He has served individual investors for many years, following the mantra, Integrity, Service, Performance.

Michael’s dedication to the community has led him to volunteer with many local service organizations. He is a proud member of the Nevada City 49er Breakfast Rotary International Club, the Gold Country Estate Planning Council and the Grass Valley – Nevada County Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nevada County.

Michael and his wife Julianne share their values of responsibility, hard work and integrity with their two daughters.
